Mistakes are uncomfortable, I know. We feel like we’ve lost, and are scared to carry on. We feel not good enough or incompetent. Yet, our mistakes reflect how and where we can grow, recap, and be careful in our activities
A few days ago, I was working on this jogger for a client. I took my time to make sure the joggers came out clean and perfect, because I need to retain the client. While working on finishing said joggers, I mistakenly cut in between the fabric.
At this point, I was confused, scared, and unsure of what to do. I had told the client the joggers would be ready the next day. It was too late to start sourcing for another fabric.
Then an idea came to me, and I turned it into a more fashionable pair of joggers.
I decided to create my own style from the mistake that was made
The client received the joggers on time and is currently requesting more.
This was how I turned my mistake into an opportunity.
Have you ever made a mistake in something you were working on or responsible for? How did you handle it, and what did you do to turn it around?

Sometimes, you make mistakes. Other times, mistakes make you. The beauty of it is that you learn. You expand in your imagination. As an artist, I make mistakes all the time. I call the hand of the artist. They may be mistakes, but they are also art.
